How We Started

Too many passionate creatives were being left behind because they lacked access to the education, resources, and opportunities that change careers in the film industry.

Flip the Script was our grassroots response. Created by our founder, Eunice Shelley, we built a virtual pathway during the pandemic that gave storytellers real-world support, real collaboration, and real production experience.

In just five years, we:

  • Produced 9 career-boosting projects

  • Transformed new writers grow into successful filmmakers

  • Trained hundreds of young people for key crew positions

  • Engaged actors, service providers, and small businesses in production work

  • Invested over $100K in creators from underserved communities.

The response was positive. The impact was real. And the results proved that when we invest in creators, the entire film production ecosystem thrives. Still, the need made it clear that this work needed infrastructure to grow. That is how CineSparq was born.
